Aesthetics is not about vanity or self gratification. Rather it is more about quality of life, a concept defined as general well-being of a person in terms of health and happiness, rather than wealth. So a natural consequence of well being is smiles and laughter.
Did you know that young children and toddlers laugh on average 300 times daily as compared to 15 times for an adult? To them, life is just one happy event after another. And it should be the same for you too! Smiling is a universal sign that someone is happy. The most remarkable thing about smiling is its contagiousness – when you smile at someone, it makes them reciprocate by returning the smile. Laughter attracts friends and humor has a positive effect in counteracting stress and depression. More than this however, laughter stimulates the body’s natural painkillers and endorphins (‘feel-good’ enhancers), helps relieve stress, and naturally heals the body.
Studies have shown that a person’s smile not only has a significant impact on how people look at them but more importantly, it affects how a person perceives him/herself. Smiling not only makes a person look younger but they will feel younger too. Yet, many people are reluctant to smile and laugh with complete abandon because of unattractive teeth. If you fall in this category, you are the right place.
From subtle changes to major repairs, we can improve your smile by a variety of procedures to treat teeth that are discolored, chipped, misshapen or missing. We try to follow the principle of aesthetics and that it is to restore your teeth such that they are in harmony with your face and appearance. All too often, cosmetic procedures can appear artificial and all too perfect. Our cosmetic procedures include bleaching, bonding, crowns, veneers, onlays and reshaping and contouring. Many of these procedures are not always just cosmetic, many a time they restore function too.

I: TOOTH WHITENING:
Tooth whitening is a chemical process of bleaching discolored teeth to a brilliant white shade. Discoloration and staining of teeth is of two types – internal and external.
Bonding is tooth-colored material used to fill in gaps or change the color of teeth. It is the most conservative and cost effective method of closing gaps and restoring a great smile. When teeth are chipped or slightly decayed, bonded composite resins may be the material of choice.
Veneers are thin pieces of porcelain/zirconium or plastic placed over the front teeth to change the color or shape of your teeth. Veneers are used on teeth with uneven surfaces or are chipped, discolored, oddly shaped, unevenly spaced or crooked.
IV: CONTOURING & RESHAPING
Tooth reshaping and contouring, is a procedure to correct crooked teeth, chipped or irregularly shaped teeth or even overlapping teeth in a single session. Tooth reshaping and contouring, is commonly used to alter the length, shape or position of your teeth.
V: RESTORATION OF VERTICAL HEIGHT
The habit of clenching and grinding the teeth is called bruxism. While some patients do it during the day, it most often occurs at night during sleep. Years of bruxism can severely wear down teeth, a process called attrition. Normal mild attrition takes place with over years of wear and tear which does not affect the size and height of teeth or the way teeth bite into each other.
